The Peninsula
With its legacy of old glamour and Colonial days, The Peninsula Hotel is an icon promising celebrity and afternoon tea under gilded ceilings. Perched along the harbour, for Chinese New Year, the facade was festooned with 188 red lanterns, lighting up the skyline. This image reminds us of the city's British past but also of its roots here in Hong Kong.
